After studying classical music (Toulouse Conservatory of Music) sciences and sound engineering (ENS Louis Lumière, Paris) I dedicated myself to Jazz at the American School of Modern Music (Paris) while earning a living as an audio engineer.
In 1999, thanks to several scholarships (Fulbright, Lurcy and Berklee) I fulfilled an old dream : going to Boston to study at the world famous Berklee College of Music .
Over there, I perfected my piano playing (with Laszlo Gardony, Ray Santisi, Neil Olmstead and Jo Anne Brackeen) my arranging skills for big band (Greg Hopkins), strings (Richard Evans), in groove and salsa writing (Dan Moretti, Bernardo Hernandez).
Performing with numerous bands and participating in various musical projects was such a unique and rewarding experience !
Back in Paris, I performed on numerous stages (Sunset, Bellevilloise, Relais du Buisson,Tremplin Jazz 2010 of Saint-Germain-des-Prés....) leading my own trio (with George Correia on double bass, Romain Bessin or Lionel Boccara on drums).
I'm currently touring with my new trio (Rémi Bouyssière on double bass, Geoffrey Cormont on drums), introducing my first LP «Inattendu», released in september 2015.
